Subject: Acquisitions

As reported to you on September 1, 1942 we have stopped all requisitions for packing crates and have now fully enacted "Standing order 233".

Our estimated acquisitions were greatly overstated and as of this report we have only been able to smelt a minimal amount. I regret to inform you that we will not be anywhere near the amount requested by Oberst Helga von Bulow.

I eagerly request additional resources so we may attain her requested quota, I truly do not wish to deal with her wrath when this information comes to light.

Awaiting your instructions
Sergeant Kreigal
